Prints and Drawings About People is a collection of very recent ink and brush drawings and screen prints that deals with ideas surrounding people and relationships. The emphasis is on the contrast between the subtle ink drawings and the bold, colorful prints. The prints are there to explicate and exaggerate what the ink drawing is trying to say. Each screen print is an exact copy of the corresponding ink drawing, enhanced by multiple colors and text. The images in this show represent the uncomfortable moments in our relationships, the realities that maybe we do not want to face—-they are strange and complicated.
